Combine the light soy and mirin in a small non-reactive bowl. Separate your eggs, saving the whites for another purpose, and place the yolks into the soy-mirin mixture. Agitate lightly so as to not break the yolks, but to get the cure to wash over the tops of the yolks. Do this a few times, while curing the yolks for 30 minutes. Flip yolks over one time during the curing process.
