In Portland, after starting at Mac Market food hall, Kari Shaughnessy is opening a brick and mortar location of Hayward in Carlton this summer. 

In Los Angeles, David Gussin (Fig & Olive) transformed the former Gasolina into Prose Kitchen and Bar. Alan Sanz (Maizano Costa Mesa) took over as executive chef at Mírate. 

In the Bay Area, Rupert and Carrie Blease shutter Lord Stanley at the end of May, with Chef Nathan Matkowsky moving to the East Coast. 

In San Diego, Travis LeGrand and Mark Whedon open Lana in Solana Beach this spring, with Chris Ruhl (Cellar Hand) tapped as executive chef. 

In Sacramento, Interlude Kitchen & Bar is headed to Elk Grove, with Tom Patterson as chef.

In Seattle, Shota Nakajima permanently closed Taku. 

In Denver, Sushi Ronin closed its original location. AJ’s Pit Bar-B-Q is no more.

In Colorado Springs, the Mining Exchange Hotel welcomes Italian-influenced Oro this spring, with a menu from Aaron Barnett. 

In Phoenix, Fox Restaurant Concepts expands The Henry to Uptown next month.

In Boise, the charcoal-fired ovens are on at House of the Little Pig at Barber Station. 

In Park City, Stuart Roger signed on as executive chef at the Waldorf Astoria Park City.
