In Chicago, Sarah Grueneberg promoted Bailey Sullivan to executive chef of Monteverde Restaurant & Pastificio. Zach Engel (Galit) and Andrés Clavero unveiled their anticipated all-day Middle Eastern and Mediterranean concept, Cafe Yaya, in Lincoln Park. NADC Burger opens in Wicker Park March 21. 

In Detroit, the team behind Freya and Chartreuse Kitchen & Cocktails opened a new bar, Dirty Shake, in Cass Corridor.

In Milwaukee, Cork Wine Bar opened in Walker's Point. 

In Indianapolis, Benyue Restaurant served its last dumpling. 

In Cincinnati, Norwood welcomed an upscale cocktail bar, The Roosevelt Room. Hideki Harada shutters Kiki March 21. Razzo called it quits in Pendleton. 

In Cleveland, the InterContinental Cleveland tapped Jagjit Singh as executive chef of Table 45. 

In Des Moines, James Thyberg and Ryan Flattery (both Bellhop) introduced Sunset Lounge in Norwalk, with a pub-style menu from Matt Linford.

In St. Louis, Alec Schingel (Winslow’s Table) evolved The Robin Project pop-up into Robin Restaurant, featuring a locally sourced prix fixe menu. 

In Sioux Falls, Pierre’s Jambon Beurre was added to the roster at Nunzio’s Food Hall.
